Water rushing across road

Sent to Mid Sussex District Council and West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5199143.

There has been a large amount of water running across both carriageways for many months - even during the summer months - As the weather turns colder, this will likely freeze and cause a serious accident if it isn't dealt with as a matter of urgency. Also, if the water is coming from a fresh water main pipe, which I suspect it may be as it didn't subside in summer, it is wasting valuable water/money.
