Traffic light sequence

The lights in the direction on Princess Drive through to Huyton (south east bound) has a filter to turn right into Finch Lane which only lasts several seconds. If a vehicle is at the front of the queue and wants to turn into Finch lane then the traffic behind them is at a standstill until the filter kicks in. Then only a couple of cars can get through to go straight. My recommendation would be for the light sequence to be 3 way. That way all the traffic would be able to move regardless of filter. Could this be looked into please as it is so frustrating. Thanks Paul.
