Impassable due to flooding

This always floods and there is quite clearly a blocked drain that keeps blocking. It’s a popular walking route for the primary school, care home and local shops that are all literally next door. Currently a muddy swamp.

7 days later and this is still the mess. Water has slightly subsided but still a big and impassable muddy sloshy mess. Right next to a primary school and the key walking route to the Coop and care home. Would happily leave my car at home if I could do the school run without me and my child ending up with muddy wet feet and looking like we’d just walked through a farmyard.

Another week on and it’s still a muddy swamp. There is obviously a blocked drain under all the mud and overgrown weeds. Years of blocked up gunk. I’ve had no response or even an acknowledgement from the Council so will take it on to Dwr Cymru and the local Councillor. It could be a lovely walking and cycling route but is pretty grim in reality.

Council has never responded. This path remains a muddy mess and will flood again in the next heavy rainfall.
