  • This was the flooding on Monday 4 th. It’s has done this already several times this year. It does eventually go down but it takes many hours. The actual storm drain is full of mud so I think that’s stopping the water from draining away. Thankyou for looking at this. The water that runs along the footpath is up against the side of my house and will cause dampness .

  • Once again the rod outside no13 and the whole of the bottom of Maycliffe park has flooded. It also has flooded all the way down the footpath at the the side of no 13 causing damp issues for the side of the house. This was on for being looked at but it hasn’t. The storm drains are full of mud. P,ease can you do this soon as it’s getting really bad and I can’t drive my car on and out, there’s too much water. Thankyou

  • The contractors came here last night and cleared the storm drains but tonight, the next night it’s even worse. It hasn’t been raining long and the road has flooded more quickly than before. Please can someone sort this out as it’s very concerning and will soon be at my front door if it carries on like this. There must be some kind of blockage further down as the water just isn’t going down the drain. The men who came last night were very helpful and worked for a long time clearing them of mud but it’s hasn’t made any difference…if anything it’s worse.

  • 31/12/23 - Drains have been rodded but still flooding - picture shows level after just one night (30th Dec). Needs another go or further investigation as could be a ‘deeper’ problem ;) - also issues with foul smell.

  • This flooding is getting worse and deeper Every time it rains It is also a problem at the bottom of Briavels grove so the blockage could go right along .

  • The water at the bottom of Maycliffe Park outside no 13 continues to be a problem. Water is now running alongside no 13 and it smells. I have lived in this street for 38 years and this was never a problem until 2023, so something has changed recently to cause this to happen.

  • Serious flooding remains at the bottom of Maycliffe despite repeated efforts to clear drains and sort of the mud. The road floods again almost immediately and is putting the house at the bottom at risk
