Sunken manhole cover and broken surround

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5177719.

High Road, Saddlebow, between the river bridge and the junction with White House Court.

A manhole cover has sunk, unevenly, creating the effect of a pothole. The road surface surrounding the manhole cover is disintegrating, (see photos).

    New Status: We have inspected and are going to resolve the problem - After investigation we have confirmed action is required. Defects are scheduled for repair depending on the nature of the defect and work needed but on average can take approximately 6 weeks.

    Any additional comments the Highways Officer has made relating to this enquiry will be displayed below:

    The site has been inspected by our NCC Highways technician, and the repairs have been programmed for our contractors to quickly complete temporary repairs to make this safe until a permanent repair is carried out.
