Very Loud Noise
Reported in the Road or pavement obstruction category anonymously at 18:48, Sun 31 August 2014
Sent to Merton 2 minutes later
The broadway is very noisy, mostly from drunk pedestrians screaming and shouting at the tops of their voices, but also from police cars using sirens after the 23.00 curfew they refuse to adhere to. Traffic noise is also a huge problem but manmade noise is most avoidable. Council continue to allow venues to have drunk and violent patrons hang outside venues and get so intoxicated they create a huge nuisance. The council says it is interested in the 'night time economy' and has no interest in residents or non drunk visitors who want a civil experience.
The location was supposed to be broadway corner stanley road but pin drop was wrong and we can't seem to edit either the report, text or pin.

nothing was done. The council aren't interested and simply say that 'the night time economy" is an important priority for Merton - ie- not interested in the residents or visitors who are effected by unsafe, dangerous and noisy anti social behaviour which in many cases is criminal.
