Road is dirty, overgrown and not been cleaned in a long time

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 09:50, Fri 3 November 2023

Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5169560.

As you turn onto the old section of a6 near Norbury hollow junction and bus stop the roads havent been swept in years, the curbs have lots of grass growing out of them along with mushy leaves, the building work on the old Robin Hood site has left mud, cement and sand all over the pavements and road. the drains have been reported but the same ones are still blocked and the bushes on the verge are still overgrown near the bus shelter forcing people to walk onto the rd.

Updates

  • Still nothing has changed, roads are slippy when leaves are mushy and wet, grids are still blocked and bushes still making footpaths impassable. Need a road sweeper to clean the roads desperately too

  • Nearly 2 months since reported and drains are still blocked, can’t see the curbs for the rd with the thick mulched leaves, the bushes along the verge are overgrown. My car actually skids when stopping on the mushy leaves! Would be nice to see some of my council tax pay to clean the rd once in a few years!
