Surface is damaged problem

Reported in the Surface is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 12:53, Thu 2 November 2023

FixMyStreet ref: 5166543.

email rcvd 02.11.23 - Good Morning

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to draw your attention to the significant erosion of the riverbank that has occurred in the vicinity of The Mythe, as a result of the recent flooding. This has resulted in an impassable footpath.

The exact location is SO8830634493. The breach is approximately 5m long, and can be seen in the attached photo.

The responsibility for repairing this lies with the landowner. The EA will not be using its permissive powers to repair it, as there is no public benefit in terms of reducing flood risk to people and property.

Kind Regards,
