Unsuitable Pavement

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5161750.

There is no suitable safe pavement to walk on this road, surface is unsteady. There is no safe pavement for the public to walk on the Cranford road as this is a country lane and there is no street lighting in place. Balfour Beatty has been spoken today and they going to investigate.

  • Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for contacting North Northamptonshire Council with regard to the footway along Cranford Road, Barton Seagrave.

    There are currently no proposals to upgrade the footway or introduce further street lighting along this section, although this may change in time with further development of Hanwood Park.

    The exiting footway will be routinely monitored as part of our Maintenance Teams inspection programme and any defects that meet the Council’s intervention levels will be attended to as necessary.
