Drains are still blocked and flooding the junction

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category by Tracey Brooks at 10:35, Wed 1 November 2023

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5160976.

I reported this already. The drains are both blocked on the corner of downing drive and woodnewton drive. The water is now flooding along the road and into downing drive

Updates

  • The drain still blocked, and the flow of water is constant, thravelling to the direction of Downing Drive. The problem is causing peoblems with crossing the road as you have to walk into the main Downing Drive to be able to cross without stepping in deep water. This is very dangerous considering the volume of traffic on these roads, especially considering the number of children walking to get to and from the 6 local school within three interlinked roads.
