There are multiple potholes throughout the course of hillside Road which need to be filled

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Anthony Feeney at 17:58, Mon 30 October 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5154856.

Several of the potholes have been significant for several months and as the winter weather onset have now started to worsen. Several of them in the Hadland house area have become dangerous for tires and 3 to 4 inches deep. The road is not wide enough to avoid them, and so are significant changes to all sides of the vehicles, including council and delivery services who are regularly complaining.

  • It’s unfortunate that the temporary fix to some of the potholes on Hillside did not extend the length of Hillside as it should. The weather has washed and created a number of hazardous holes which are still a problem to residents and their ability to navigate access to homes on a single track road.
