Wooden post at entrance to Francis Dickins Close has rotted and fallen.

Reported via desktop in the Safety Bollard - Damaged/Missing category by Terry Savage at 22:58, Thu 26 October 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5142475.

Another post at the above location has rotted and fallen. I reported one earlier in the month on 5050345 which you attended and replaced quickly -thanks. However I also stated that many of the others where looking in a poor state as well including the now fallen one. Would it be wise to check all and replace as required rather than one at a time. I also believe that there are some gaps between posts and we are probably missing about two or three?

  • This post has still not been replaced and others nearby are also in a poor state and rotting in the ground, Perhaps a general check and replacing of a few more would save further call outs?
