Dangerous overgrown vegetation

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 21:28, Tue 19 August 2014

Sent to Derbyshire County Council 2 minutes later

The overgrown bushes, nettles and trees are now becoming a danger to pedestrians as they are obstructing the pavement to such an extent that I have to step off the pavement and into the road when walking either my dogs or my son in his pushchair. This has become progressively worse for acouple of years, to the point now of being a serious risk.

Updates

  • Very impressed! The council were out today and have made a great start by removing some of the overgrowth from the pavement. To be fair i don't think they could do much more today as the guy was investigating it on a quad bike. Just checked the website and the case is not closed so I guess they intend to come back. Good Work!
