It’s ok to go out and mark the area with a can of spray paint to acknowledge that a repair is needed. But it defies belief when two people come to do that. One to mark one to photograph it, yet the repair gets left so long the paint wears off. Because contractors are being used many repairs are sub standard that they fail and have to be done again!

It seams that whoever is employing people to carry out the work needs to ensure that the road is repaired to a standard well able to take the sort of pressure the road at that point takes. Further up Worthy Lane there is a patch near to the entrance of the Care Home. Its been repaired twice but has sunk on both occasions. Very dangerous for cyclists. Finally the area around the area of School Lane on the same road has been resurfaced and the road is just as bad as the surface was not planed first. What a waste of money!!!
