The pear tree here is hug and deposits large quantities of small pears on the footpath and road beneath each year, potentially causing a slip, particularly on the path. Pye own land here and have taken responsibility for it and had part of the tree removed. On speaking to the tree cutter who did the work he though really the tree ought to go completely but Pye had asked him only to remove part. It leaves a significant amount of tree overhanging the road and path and I iagine will have to go eventually. I would say to Pye why not finish the job and be done with it?
