Flooding like a river

After Friday nights rain the b113 between the park and ride and the rugby club Swardeston was flowing like a river becoming impassable . I believe this will be a persists problem each time it rains. Even today after no rain since Friday night (Monday) water was still running off the land and at the side of the road. This wasn’t a problem until the ‘electricity station’ development. There had been problem of flooding by the park and ride entrance in past years that was delt with by provision of specific drainage. I am concerned how this flooding will impact emergency services reaching those with urgent needs and having to reroute will delay them and result in an unnecessary fatality. It will also make back roads much busier on rainy days as drivers won’t even try to use this part of the B1113 knowing how badly flooded it was this time.
