The lights on the underpass under the A34 and on the footpath inti Wilmslow Park are out. I have been reporting this issue since I was elected to Wilmslow Town Council in 2019. I am now Chair of the council and I am aware that there have been a number of reports on this issue - including reports from CECCouncillors. Last week, returning from Council meetings, it was pitch black in this area. I was threatened by two unleashed dogs. Fortunately, the dog owner, who was 50 m away - and carrying a torch - was able to recall his dogs. I was completely disorientated. I could not find my way back to the path. This route is key element of the active p Transport plans for Wilmslow. It is an essential link in the footpaths and cycle ways linking NW Wilmslow to the Town Centre. I have referee to making prior reports. I have never had a substantive response. I will be raising your response at Wilmslow Town Council.
