Big uncut grass in playing field outside children's nursery

In the past the council street services would come out on regular intervals and trim the grass in this public playing field outside the school/children's nursery; however for many months now this has not happened or stopped being maintained. Not too long ago there was an incident here where this place was hijacked by some gypsy travellers who set camp. Although they were later escorted off by police couple days later following complaints by local residents, the travellers had also left behind their litter which is now ever more hidden within the long grass causing a unhygienic hazards for anyone (ie. pets/children/elderly etc.) who may unknowingly take a stroll through there.
