Parking

Reported via mobile anonymously at 20:41, Fri 13 October 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5095795.

Damer Gardens is becoming increasingly busy for traffic and parking, many cars are now parking either side of the road making it near impossible to pass, other cars park on/cross the pavement which prevents school children, parents with pushchairs and older people being able to walk along the pavement - is there anything that can be done about this as it is extremely dangerous?

Council ref: ENQ23977329

There are often challenges regulating parking in areas of high demand as residents are likely to object to new measures to control parking.

Officers have worked with Henley Town Council to bring forward a package of changes across the town, however this location is not included.

Road will be logged for future review, but recommend contacting Town Council who have a parking working group looking at local issues.
