Green space getting damaged
Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 17:06, Thu 12 October 2023
Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5091235.
There are cars & vans constantly parking on the edge of the grass verge.
This is causing an obstruction for cars getting past. And also turning the grass into an unsightly mudbath.
Please can the council erect a sign as in Ty Gwyn Road (I have attached a photo) and/or wooden stakes as in Llanedeyrn & Pentwyn.
Cars should not be parked on the grass verge.

The cars & vans are still parking on the grass. The grass is churned up, spreading mud across the footoath & making it slippery. The tree roots are most likely being damaged. Any oil leakage from vehicles would have a detrimental effect on the wildlife.

The Council are not interested, but thankfully the local residents have taken the matter into their own hands and the grass is slowly restoring itself.
