  • Ongoing since 10th October

Posted anonymously at 13:45, Wed 6 December 2023

  • Actually this has been outstanding since May (see FMS 4505417). Riney are probably not interested because it is re-doing a job under guarantee so they need to be actively chased. It is unacceptable that this job has been outstanding for so long.

  • Over 11 months since this was first reported on ref. 4505417 and no update since January. Will it ever get repaired or are LBB/Riney going for a new record?

  • There is now another pothole within 3 meters of the first. Please ensure that both are fixed at the same time rather than waiting another year due to Riney inefficient working practices. LBB highways inspector should attend and escalate this location in view of the length of time it has been outstanding.

  • Can someone please explain in straightforward terms why this report is not being updated? Why is it taking so long to resolve satisfactorily? Most importantly a date it will be resolved by? This would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

  • I agree with the previous person who posted a comment about the lack of action to repair these potholes. There were some potholes on Shepperton Rd which were repaired quickly . So if they can be done why not the potholes on Towncourt Lane which were reported before the potholes on Shepperton Rd. Or doesn't it work like that ????

  • The issue at this location has now been outstanding for OVER 1 YEAR (see FMS 4505417). Why is LBB not taking enforcement action against Riney for breach of contract or getting a competent contractor to deal with it?

  • Will this completed by September 2024?

Posted anonymously at 13:17, Tue 2 July 2024

  • Needs dealing with NOW as has already been outstanding for over 1 year. Absolutely appalling service by LBB/Riney who clearly have no concern for road users.

Posted anonymously at 12:27, Thu 25 July 2024

  • LBB, your generic replies are pointless and just make residents more annoyed. This issue has been outstanding for over a year so there can be no excuse for your contractor not dealing with it (other than that they are incompetent and prefer to ignore the fact that this is one of the longest outstanding potholes in the Borough). When (if ever) will it be dealt with?

Posted anonymously at 12:53, Thu 25 July 2024

  • First reported on this FMS report 289 days ago, former FMS report predates this to May 2023. See extract from my ongoing my spreadsheet, entries currently stand at 2220 recorded FMS road defects. Half of which have been closed off without ANY action being taken, as they are either duplicates or closed off for reasons unknown or unclear. This is one of the longest running open reports I am tracking. Why is this one particular one taking so long please? Thanks.
