Tree is damaged problem
Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 18:56, Fri 6 October 2023
FixMyStreet ref: 5077554.
Good Afternoon,
Tree subsidence at 17 Keynsham Road, Gloucestershire, GL53 7PU
Further to our email sent on 15/09/23, we requested that you make a decision regarding the removal of T1 Lime within 14 days, following a review of the submission of all evidence.
Our 14-day period has now passed, and you have failed to agree to remove the implicated vegetation to ensure that there is no ongoing and future threat of subsidence damage.
I have attached an update Engineering Appraisal Report and all of the level monitoring details which details the damage to our policyholder's home and cyclical movement.
If no agreement is given in the next 7 days, we will place the council on notice, contact your Head of Insurance/Finance to advise of the costs you/your clients will have recovered from them due to your decision not to fell the implicated vegetation, despite us providing full evidence. We will also appoint Solicitors/Recovery Unit to pursue a recovery of all associated costs.
In the meantime, we would appreciate a confirmation letter or email, to confirm that you have received this correspondence.
We look forward to your mitigation decision.
Yours faithfully,
Savitri
