Strong smell of sewage

There's a strong smell of sewage in the road, as if the drains are blocked. It seems strange with the roads recently rebuilt.

  • If there is a sewage involvement, unless the problem is in a private drain, in which case environmental health may have to take enforcement action, you need to contact the sewage company, which is Thames Water for most of London.
