The Victorian style lighting columns are a distinguishing feature of The Weir in Warboys. Despite various residents reporting the fault, they have remained non-operational since June. With the longer evenings approaching our thoughts turn to Christmas lighting displays which will be spoilt if these lighting faults are not resolved. The problems have only occurred since the Highway's PFI Lighting Scheme was implemented.

The Victorian style lighting columns are a distinguishing feature of The Weir in Warboys and have remained non-operational since June. The problems have only occurred since the Highway's PFI Lighting Scheme was implemented. Sadly Balfour Beatty and UK Power Network seem unable to satisfactorily resolve this problem. Meanwhile the local residents remain disappointed at the lack of response despite many people reporting the failure and the Christmas Lighting display will be spoilt with non-operational Victorian columns.
