Sent to Adur District Council and West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5059547.

On a259 by Norfolk Bridge shoreham there are road works. They have closed lanes and are controlling the 1 way traffic by lights... normally 3 roads off the roundabout east and west bound...what is usually a 5 minute journey was a 90 minute journey this morning. The council have advised they do not have the power to close lanes and should be operating within certain time windows...so why are they... its gridlocked in a 2km radius if not more....can you intervene....?
