Street Lights not switched on

Hello,

Please could you turn the street lights on down Silver Lane by 6am? I, like many others, have to walk this route to get to Billingshurst Station - it’s incredibly dark and dangerous without any street lights showing the way.

Now that the nights are longer than the day, it’d be great if the working hours of the street lights could be updated to reflect the dark periods.

  • Bit of a disappointing exchange - requested the street lights be switched on earlier to light a very dark pavement on route to the train station, the response was basically “until there’s a crime and the police submit a request to change the timing of the street lights - they can’t be changed”. What a world we live in…
