Julius gardens marsh farm

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 08:46, Mon 2 October 2023

Sent to Luton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5051344.

There is a resident living in julius gardens that runs a 2cnd hand car business the cars are parked all around the street preventing other residents from parking, my mother us disabled and I cannot park near my home other residents are also complaining as it is becoming dangerous driving around this road due to all these cars causing massive blind spots so you cannot see cars coming either way around bends in the road do we need to wait for an accident of a pedestrian or car collision? All these cars are untaxed, not insurance and no m.o.t. which is against the law, can somebody please come around here and check this I'm sure you would be able to ticket at least 15 cars, this is unfair on the residents and the perpetrator should rent a business unit to run his business, he has pipes running into drains so clearly doing repairs on the cars for resales, cars are even being parked on grass verges on entry to julius gardens and on grass verge across the opening of juliys gardens, it truly is becoming very dangerous and out of control, this is a residential area not a business park, neighbourhood watch came round a few cars were removed but came back the same evening?

Updates

  • Luton borough council have done nothing about the issues reported, as always something horrendous would have to happen before attention is paid, this could potentially end in death of pedestrian/child due to blind spots resulting in too many abandoned cars!
