Overgrown hedge/bushes.

Reported via mobile in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 23:49, Sun 1 October 2023

Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5050964.

The hedge/bushes around the care facility are encroaching on the footpath, with long thorny bramble stems dangling down, they are also much higher than permitted. The street sign for Easedale Avenue is almost totally obscured again. This was lightly trimmed last year and the clippings left on the pavement, the sign is buried approx 3 feet deep inside the hedge. This was reported eight months ago before the nesting season but nothing was done about it.

  • I have just reported this matter again, the situation has got worse and the height of the bushes is making the area dangerous as the street lighting is being diminished.
