Dangerous pedestrian crossing needs zebra crossing

Reported via iOS anonymously at 19:30, Tue 26 September 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5034892.

On the B4056 just past the Henleaze/ Westbury on Trump mini roundabout, There is a dropped curb to encourage pedestrian crossing at this point in the road. However, both sides of the road are a double lane with traffic travelling at 30 miles an hour and it is incredibly difficult and dangerous to cross. Today, myself and another pram user waited over 2 minutes before there was even a slight gap in traffic to cross one side of the carriageway. It wasn’t a safe gap and we had to run across with our prams. I can’t imagine what this must be like for a wheelchair user.

Please could the council consider placing a zebra crossing at this point on both sides of the carriageway to make this very well used crossing much safer for all users?
