Reported via mobile in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 17:03, Tue 26 September 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5034230.

Due to inappropriate parking at the entrance to Homemead Road when trying to enter or exit due to vehicles parking up to the road entrance under normal road parking rules there should be no parking to applied to the 8meters of the road. It is highly dangerous when trying to enter the road from Southborough lane due to the single lane created due to parking up to the road entrance

  • Unfortunately our parking contractors are unable to enforce against a vehicle parked at this location, as it is designated as an advisory not to park within 10 meters on a junction, rather than a mandatory action.

We will ask the traffic engineering team to investigate this location to establish whether the introduction of double yellow lines at the junction are required.
