Parking on pavement avoiding double yellow lines in a one way street, obstructiing residents access.

Parking is only permitted on the street the wrong way. side of the road. People are ignoring the fact that there are double yellow lines on the other side and are parking on the public footpath, blocking access to properties on that side and forcing people to walk on the road. This has been going on for over a year. More importantly the fact that this is a one way street is also being ignored on a daily basis. There was a serious accident last year because of it and I myself have almost been hit by a car, and more recently my son-in-law Have reported these problems many times. Today an ambulance came into the street turned around and parked outside my house facing the wrong way, the driver mistakenly knocked on my door. I informed the driver that they were in a one way street they replied 'I didn't know' and despite this they drove back out of the street the wrong way.
