Tree roots breaking up pavement

Roots of large tree between nos.47 and 49 Highfield Drive West Wickham are breaking up the asphalt and making the paving slabs uneven.

  • Thank you for your reply, you contractor has replaced the asphalt but the paving slabs are still uneven which could cause a trip hazard.

  • The works to address the uneven paving were raised separately and prior to the works raised and attached to this report to address the asphalt along the edge of the footway. The uneven paving will be repaired in due course, though we are unable to provide a precise time frame as to when this may be. LBB appreciates your patience in the meantime.
