Dangerous large pothol on corner of road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5030189.

Yet another pot hole you are leaving to repair. Today it burst my tyre costing me £230 (a picture taken of the yellow marking to repair - a claim will be made for this against the council)

Why are dangerous pot holes on country roads (60 mph) being left for weeks to repair? Ones like this should be immediately fixed

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - We can confirm that a temporary repair has been completed. A full repair will be taking place within the next 6 months.

    Should you be requesting financial assistance in repairing your vehicle you can pursue an insurance claim against North Northamptonshire Council as the local highway authority. This can be done by contacting the Council’s Insurance Team by email: highwaysinsurance@northnorthants.gov.uk. or by post at: North Northamptonshire Council Municipal Offices Bowling Green Road Kettering NN15 7QX
