Blocked Right of Way

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by John Jocys at 13:39, Sun 20 July 2014

Sent to Lancashire County Council 1 minute later

The Right of Way through Newhurst Farm has been blocked. Although a Concessionary Path is in place, there is also a sign pointing out that it's existence does not effect the existing Right of Way. In spite of this the Right of Way is completely inaccessible.

Updates

  • Still not sorted. The property owners at Newhurst Farm have 'acquired' the land by illegally blocking the Public Right of Way and with a local authority that seem unwilling to act there's nobody to stop them.
    A poor show.

  • The local authority clearly couldn’t be mithered with this. They're quite happy for property developers to ride rough-shod over the laws of the land.
They are a disgrace to their office.
