Nasty sewage smell after crossing bridge towards Lindford

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5024005.

We were returning from shopping in Alton and as we crossed Lindford Bridge we noticed a strong smell which was very likely sewage. I am quite familiar with foul smells and it was definitely sewage of the human waste type. This is most likely to be from the river Wey which flows under this bridge and should not contain sewage. I will be sharing this information elsewhere.
