T turning head
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 14:01, Sat 23 September 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5023503.
Currently no signage or yellow lines to indicate no parking and that the T Head is designated as a turning head for larger vehicles. Currently it’s being* used by dog walkers, joggers etc as parking which then means large vehicles have to reverse down a whining country lane or use the drives of local residents to turn around. Needs signage to say No Parking, and yellow lines please.

Where a vehicle is parked in such a way that impedes vehicle access, which may constitute an obstruction to other road users, this should be reported to the local Police who can carry out the necessary enforcement action against the owners. Northamptonshire Police have enforcement powers if they consider that drivers are creating a parking hazard and there is clearly an obstruction on the public highway. The Police can identify the owner by the registration number of the vehicle(s) and can decide upon the relevant advisory or enforcement action to take. You may wish to contact the Neighborhood Policing Team by calling the non-emergency number 101 or by following the link on the Northants Police website: Neighbourhood Policing Teams | Northamptonshire Police (northants.police.uk).
