Report from Chairman: Also he is concerned about a tree near a property called the “Well House” which is on Ridge Hill almost at Meg Lane End. The tree is a beautiful large Beech tree which has a low branch reaching right across the road & the farmer thinks it needs to be inspected by the tree surgeons from CEC. He feels that it is dangerous and could catch on a big vehicle and cause damage. There is also a branch on the opposite side of the road from the Well House that has broken in the wind and rain and although it is not in the road at the moment it is in danger of slipping into the carriage way.

We have assessed the issue and it needs to be inspected by a qualified arborist. The time it will take to carry out the inspection will depend on the priorities of the arborist. We will update your report once we have more information.
