Low overhanging holly and hawthorn bushes/trees

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 11:40, Tue 19 September 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5009367.

These bushes/trees at No 3 Bancroft Road are low, overhanging causing pedestrians to catch persons and clothing. When wet the branches droop even lower. This situation has been going on for three plus years. Householder has now planted a hawthorn hedge which is now protruding through wrought iron fence onto the public footpath snagging legs and clothing. This situation gets worse this time of year as darkness makes the problem worse.
