Cars backed up idling on Raleigh Road due to road works on the A316 roundabout.

Cars idling for hours morning and evening causing the air to feel heavy and humid around Raleigh road especially. Myself and my toddler seemed to have developed a cough and sore throat since this road work. I know other residents have mentioned they too have one. It's a real cause for concern that our health is being put at risk and supposedly for 12 months the result of this could lead to some serious health issues I fear for us local residents. Surely this needs attention and a plan put in place to prevent damage to public health.
