Hazard for cyclists
Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 13:48, Sat 12 July 2014
Sent to Lancaster City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 499861.
Brambles and nettles are encroaching on the cycle way. Catching either of these with a bare arm could cause a cyclist to fall.

The brambles may have been trimmed but nettles are still prevalent. What is irritating is that this is designated as a cycling route but is being allowed to become overgrown. If the Council do not intend to maintain it then they should remove the cycling bollard and open up the road - benefitting cyclists and car users alike.

There are still nettles at this point that could be caught by a cyclist. There are of course nettles in many places. But the Council have designated this particular point as a cycle way and In my view are not maintaining adequately.
