Bridal path between Broad Lane and London Road

Reported via desktop in the Hedge/Tree Maintenance category anonymously at 10:57, Thu 14 September 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4993339.

I often try to walk my children, who attend Stapeley Broad Lane school, along the bridal path which connects Broad Lane with London Road to our home on the Stapeley Gardens estate. However, it is completely overgrown with mostly nettles and is impassable for children. As you can see from the attached photo, that all the greenery is stinging nettles, and my dog is in the photo for scale and to show that there really is hardly a path any longer. Please could this all now be completely trimmed back from end to end (not just the London Road end) and maintained as such as this happens often throughout the year.

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
