Motorcycle parking sign needs repainting

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 16:07, Tue 12 September 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4986960.

The Motorcycle Only sign needs to be repainted on the ground. Cars constantly park here now. I tried to lodge this request on Glasgow City Council’s own frustratingly useless website but as it doesn’t allow you to submit a description or an image it is a waste of time (the council app doesn’t work either and when I phoned the council I was told to make a complaint … but filling in the four pages of the complaints form and submitting it I received a system error). Please repaint the parking sign and fix your unhelpful website and app.

  • 11 November. Motor cars keep parking in this motor cycle parking space. The, almost invisible, motorcycle only signage on the road still needs repainting

  • September 2024. SOLO M/C ONLY and line markings eventually repainted on road. Over a year after reporting the missing signage and lodging two formal complaints and an ombudsman complaint. Slightly better than completely useless service GCC. Well done!

    State changed to: Fixed
