Lots of litter gets dropped here especially at weekends from the footballers who use the field ( from old wilsonians football club & visiting teams) This ground is used regularly by the old wilsonians club. they tell people to park in Hawes lane as their club house is up Hayes Hill - a private road !!! By placing a litter bin by the gate along the path will hopefully stop them dropping all their litter in the alley / footpath and top of Hawes Lane . it has been an ongoing problem , and seems to get worse every season ,bottles ,cans, crisps packets etc just litter the pathway at the Hawes down end and it all ends up in the road & street & in our gardens & properties. despite bins outside the Glebe school .( lots of litter gets dropped along there too ! ) Check with your road sweepers ! the people , adults and lots of children come off the football field at the gate just a little way along the alley / footpath there and just drop their litter - a bin with a sign by this gate to field should help - we the neighbours in Hawes Road do hope! please please , can a street bin be placed here ! thank you in advance .
