Although there are no parking restrictions cheating this person has parked their car without even looking to see that they’ve have caused an obstruction. As we live close to West Wickham high street people park like this all the time. We were blocked in, unable to get to work. My child has a disability and a medical condition which could result in her needing an ambulance. We think double yellow lines are needed on one side or resident only. Thank you

Our Traffic Team are continuing to investigate this reported concern.

This location has been investigated by the Traffic Engineering Department who agree that the road could benefit from some kind of parking measures. The location has been added to the independent parking assessment list. The current timescale for full investigation and implementation, subject to funding and approval, is 12-18 months.
