Street light not lit

Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 15:21, Sun 10 September 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4977683.

Street light No3 in Cambridge Crescent has not worked for 3 months despite being previously reported and said to be fixed. It is the one at top of road on corner but is not clearly numbered, it is a sodium lamp mounted on a heritage post. It is very dark on this corner and you need a torch at night to avoid tripping over!

  • This job was reported in July, then falsely reported fixed in August. Re-reported in September, then the council said they would have contractors fix it immediately. Now in December I am reporting this street light is still missing (image attached). Please can this be fixed, it is directly outside my house, it gets dark at 4pm now and I can't see the steps at my front door without a head torch. Should not take 6 months to sort this. Thank you.
