Double parking

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4976123.

Albert Drive has a huge issue with cars being dumped in the middle of the road while people go about thier business. This is causing an issue for residents when we drive as we have to navigate around cars. Often a parking space is available but it is normal to dump a car and not care. We need traffic wardens and fines issued. Please can something be done. Notices placed to say fines will be issued for double parking. Cameras to catch perpetrators. Traffic wardens to issue on the spot fines. We all pay road tax and this should give us the right to politely ask for some action to be taken against those who do not treat our road’s respectfully.

  • Double parking is still rife on Albert Drive. No one seems to take action or care. The fact that nothing has been done for decades means that this behaviour is now the norm. All we need is a traffic warden and the perpetrators will stop. It’s unfair for local residents to have to deal with this issue on a daily basis.
