Large plastic banner (c. 2.5m x 0.75m) on Beckenham Recreation Ground ornate historic railings on Croydon Rd frontage advertising a music event in Orpington which took place on 5th August, over a month ago. Commercial intrusion into the attractive view and green break of the park and clutter in the street scene. This advertisement should not be here at all as it does not relate to the premises on which it is displayed. It also constitutes single use plastic which apparently we are trying to reduce.
