I want a TPO on the tree at the front of my house.

My neighbour has been living at number 11 Locks Close and has been trying to cut down the tree which has stood in the Close for all the history of the Close. He has claimed lots of untruths in order to make his driveway look bigger. The tree has been a natural habitat for birds returning every year to raise their young. I have told him that I object to any interference with the tree and he is now claiming that the tree is dying. It is not. The tree was there when he happily bought his property in 2017, and since he moved in he has made as many people as he can get to listen to him. He will not stop unless a TPO is made to protect this, the only tree in the street.

He is gradually building a fence around the tree outside the house, claiming that it is on his property. He has made it look like a bigger eyesore than I have witnessed in the street. He has even made his friends promenade outside the front of the house to drum up agreement for his proposal to chop down the tree that is in the same condition as it has always been. Any problems are a direct result of his hedge growing up the tree.

Evidence that the once majestic tree is being strangled by the hedge from number 11 and he is now erecting the ugliest fence to try to cover the evidence. It is very apparent that the damage is coming directly from his hedge and NOT the tree.
