Large Oak Trees need ivy trimming.

I was hoping somebody could help. There are a Number of large oak trees on New street hill that are being killed by ivy. Some are heavily covered and in strong weather there is a big worry they will fall down. We have had 4 so far fall one writing off a van of a worker on the street. Outside our house number 67 we have one that is showing signs of the tree dying with large dead branches. If this tree does come down it will land directly onto our car and on top of our house with our daughters room being on the front. We would really appreciate this being maintained. Resident has called in as the crew have turned up and has started work on the trees outside 61, resident that reported has put 67. all the trees on the street need the Ivy and dead dead wood removing. They are concerned about the safety of the trees and the damage they can cause.
Would the crew be able to return and remove the Ivy from the tree outside 67 New Street Hill
