Pavement parking blocking access for residents

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:20, Thu 7 September 2023

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4968146.

There used to be parking regulations on this street (Ingram Row) and Ingram Street.

This was removed and the area is now full of vehicles parked on the streets, pavements and blocking access. This is not safe for people moving around the area - people with restricted mobilities are not able to use the walkways for example, it is also causing considerable damage to the carriageway.

Nearby streets have double yellow and single yellow lines however this does not - causing people to park here for free. This is against both Leeds City Council's Transport Strategy and WYCAs - regulations must be put in place to stop this and be consistent with other streets in the area.
